80% Grenache Noir, 20% Syrah, matured for up to 22 months in French oak (228l barrels and 600l demi-muids).

Paler ruby than some earlier vintages due to the extreme proportion of Grenache, the nose is however as explosive, plush and opulent as ever, layered with exotic spice, cracked black pepper and of course streaked with crushed vanillia. The palate is instantly appealing, polished and smooth on entry but steeped in depth and texture as the flavours swirl around, lengthen and delight.

Perfect with hearty casseroles, meaty dishes.
