Jordan Chameleon Merlot
Gary and Kathy Jordan have been making world-class wines since 1993 on a farm with a history going back over 300 years. Hes a geologist, shes an economist together this husband and wife team is a phenomenon. Garys parents, Ted and Sheelagh, bought the now 164 hectare Stellenbosch property in 1982, and embarked on an extensive replanting programme.
The Jordan Chameleon Research Bursary is an initiative started by the Jordans, whereby the tuition and research costs of a PhD student with be funded by the proceeds of worldwide sales of our Jordan Chameleon range. This will have a huge conservation benefit for the Cape Dwarf Chameleon.
High quality toasted wooden staves add tannin and structure which complements the sweet berry and dark chocolate notes of the merlot. No sulphur was added during the production process.
Perfect with rich casseroles, venison, slow roasted lamb shank, roasted potatoes.
