Gary and Kathy Jordan have been making world-class wines since 1993 on a farm with a history going back over 300 years. Hes a geologist, shes an economist together this husband and wife team is a phenomenon. Garys parents, Ted and Sheelagh, bought the now 164 hectare Stellenbosch property in 1982, and embarked on an extensive replanting programme.
Plush textured merlot fills the framework provided by the cabernet, leading to approachable flavours of sun-ripened plum & dark-skinned spring berries with a topnote of herbal dried mint.
Perfect with southern Italian-style cured pork, goat's cheese, olive tart, cured meats, pizza and steaks.
